    Ratu Elizabeth II ataupun nama sebenarnya Elizabeth Alexandra Mary dilahirkan pada 21 April 1926. Beliau merupakan ratu memerintah ataupun ketua negara-negara berdaulat Komanwel seperti United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Jamaica, Barbados, the Bahamas, Grenada, Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, Tuvalu, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Belize, Antigua and Barbuda, dan Saint Kitts and Nevis serta Ketua Komanwel bagi 54 negara ahli Komanwel termasuklah Malaysia. Beliau berkahwin dengan Putera Philip, Duke of Edinburgh dan mempunyai 4 orang anak iaitu Putera Charles, Prince of Wales, Andrew, Duke of York, Edward, Earl of Wessex dan Puteri Anne, Princess Royal.

    Solomon Islands terletak di perairan Australasia. Ia mendapat kemerdekaan daripada United Kingdom pada 7 Julai 1978. Mempunyai penduduk kira-kira hanya setengah juta. Solom Islands diperintah kerajaan raja berperlembagaan serta demokrasi berparlimen. Inu negaranya adalah Honiara dan menggunakan matawang Dollar (SBD).

Di atasnya tertulis VIVAT REGINA ELIZABETHA yang beerti 'Long Live Queen Elizabeth'. Di bawahnya terdapat tulisan 1926 dan 1996 sempena 70 tahun kelahirannya serta nilai muka syiling iaitu 5 DOLLARS.
