    Kazakhstan menggunakan matawang Tenge (KZT) dalam transaksi harian mereka. 1 Tenge bersamaan 100 Tiin. Walaubagaimanapun Tiin sudah tidak digunakan kerana inflasi. Tenge diperkenalkan pada 15 November 1993 menggantikan Soviet Ruble. Terdapat isu syiling 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 dan 100 Tenge serta kertas 200, 500, 1000, 2000, 5000 dan 10000 Tenge dalam kitaran harian.

    Muka Depan

    Gambar wang kertas ini menegak. Di tengah terdapat lukisan gambar bangunan Astan-Baiterek. Di tengah juga terdapat serpihan nota muzik lagu kebangsaan Kazakhstan dicetak putih pada permukaan merah dan kelabu. Di kirinya terdapat lambang kebangsaan Kazakhstan dicetak dalam warna merah gelap . Bendera Kazakshtan terdapat di atas kanan wang. Di bawah terdapat tangan yang terbuka. Terdapat juga beberapa baris perkataan yang ditulis dalam Kazakh dan Russia.

    Muka Belakang

    Gambar muka belakang pula melintang seperti kebiasaan wang yang lain. Lukisan utama adalah peta lakaran negara Kazakhstan. Di depannya terdapat Tugu Kemerdekaan Kazakhstan dan di belakangnya pula terdapat bangunan hotel di Almaty dan gunung-ganang. Nilai 5000 dicetak di bahagian kanan dan kiri wang. Nilai muka wang ditulis di tengah-tengah bahagian bawah dalam Bahasa Rusia dan bank yang keluarkan wang ditulis dalam Bahasa Kazakh di tengah atas wang serta logonya.
