    Bahamas ataupun nama rasminya Komanwel Bahamas ialah negara yang mempunyai 29 pulau, 2,387 batuan dan 661 pulau batuan yang terletak di Lautan Atlantik ke utara Cuba dan tenggara Amerika Syarikat. Ibu  negaranya adalah Nassau. Kerajaannya adalah republik berdemokrasi dan raja berperlembagaan. Ia mendapat kemerdekaan daripada United Kingdom pada 10 Julai 1973. Ia mempunyai kira-kira 330 ribu orang penduduk. Ia menggunakan matawang Dollar (BSD).


    Muka Depan

    Ditengah-tengah syiling terdapat lukisan gambar dua ekor ikan dan dibelakangnya terdapat lukisan lumut laut/corak. Di bawahnya pula terdapat perkataan TEN CENTS.

    Muka Belakang

    Di muka belakang terdapat jata negara Bahamas ditengahnya. Di atas jata pula terdapat perkataan COMMONWEALTH OF THE BAHAMAS. Tahun 1974 keluaran syiling pula tercatat di sebelah bawah syiling.
