    Comoros merupakan negara gugusan kepulauan yang terletak di Lautan India. Ibu negaranya adalah Moroni. Kerajaannya adalah republik persekutuan. Ia mendapat kemerdekaan daripada Perancis pada 6 Julai 1975. Ia mempunyai kira-kira 798 ribu orang penduduk. Ia menggunakan matawang Franc (KMF).

    Muka Depan

    Di tengah terdapat lukisan gambar ikan Coelacanth, spesis ikan purba yang dijumpai di laut dalam sekitar Lautan India. Di latar belakang pula terdapat lukisan bukit-bukit serta laut di Comoros. Nilai muka wang iaitu 1000 terdapat di sebelah kanan atas dan kiri wang. Di sebelah kiri bawah pula terdapat perkataan BANQUE CENTRALE DES COMORES serta MILLE FRANCS. Tandatangan gabenor terletak di sebelah kanan bawah wang.

    Muka Belakang

    Di tengah wang terdapat gambar lukisan seorang lelaki di dalam bot Catamaran. Nilai muka ditulis dalam bahasa Arab terdapat di sebelah kanan serta kiri atas wang. Di bahagian kiri bawah wang pula terdapat perkataan Arab yang bermaksud Bank Negara Comoros serta Seribu Francs. Nombor siri wang kertas terdapat pada bahagian atas dan bawah wang kertas.
