    Haiti terletak di Lautan Caribbean bersempadanan dengan Republic Dominican yang berkongsi satu pulau yang sama. Ibu negaranya adalah Port-au-Prince . Kerajaannya adalah semi presiden republik. Ia mendapat kemerdekaan daripada Perancis pada 17 Julai 1825 walaubagaimanpun Haiti telah pun mengisytiharkan kemerdekaan negaranya pada 1 Januari 1804 lagi. Ia mempunyai kira-kira 10.2 juta orang penduduk. Ia menggunakan matawang Gourde (HTG).


    Muka Depan

    Di sebelah kiri wang terdapat gambar François Capios (1766-1806), pahlawan Haiti semasa Revolusi Haiti dan terkenal dalam peperangan Vertieres manakala di belakangnya pula terdapat gambar peperangan. Nilai muka wang 50 dicetak di sebelah penjuru kanan atas dan kiri atas wang. Di tengah atas pula terdapat perkataan BICENTENAIRE DE L'INDEPENDANCE  D'HAITI dan BISANTNÉ ENDEPANDANS DAYITI serta 1804 dan 2004 yang menunjukkan ulang tahun ke-200 kemerdekaan Haiti. Di sebelah kanan wang terdapat perkataan CINQUANTE GOURDES dan SENKANT GOUD serta bendera Haiti dan tandatangan. Jata negara Haiti pula terdapat di bahagian kiri atas wang.


    Muka Belakang

    Di tengah wang terdapat gambar Kubu Jalousière di Marmelade, Haiti manakala di atasnya pula terdapat perkataan BANQUE DE LA REPUBLIQUE D'HAITI  dan BANK REPIBLIK DAYITI. Di sebelah kanan dan kiri wang terdapat nilai muka 50 serta perkataan GOURDES dan GOUD.
