    Syiling Libertad ini memaparkan gambar Victoria yang bersayap. Victoria merupakan dewi kemenangan dalam mitologi Roman kuno. Dia adalah sama taraf dengan mitologi Greek dewi Nike.
    Mexico terletak di Amerika Utara, bersempadanan dengan Amerika Syarikat di sebelah utara, Guatemala, Beliza dan Lautan Caribbean di sebelah tenggara. Ibu negaranya adalah Mexico City dan mempunyai kira-kira 112 juta orang penduduk. Negaranya diperintah dengan sistem republik berpersekutuan. Mexico mendapat kemerdekaan daripada Sepanyol pada 16 September 1820. Ia menggunakan matawang Peso (MXN).
