    San Marino terletak di sebelah timur Pergunungan Apennine dan dikelilingi oleh Itali.  Saiznya adalah kira-kira 61km persegi dan mempunyai kira-kira 30,000 orang penduduk sahaja. Ibu negaranya adalah City of San Marino. San Marino merupakan salah satu daripada negeri-negeri kecil dalam Kesatuan Eropah seperti Liechtenstein, Vatican, Monaco, Andorra dan Malta.
